Better Living Counseling Services

Better Living recognizes the need for individualized services for each person served. That is why we are committed to completing assessments at intake and creating individualized plans with goals that are developed with the input of those we serve. Better Living provides Foster Care, Family Support, PTSV, Drug and Alcohol Testing, IFP/IFR, In Home Safety, and Tracker Services. Foster Care Services provides agency-supported, relative and kinship homes which are designed as an out-of-home placement for youth. Foster Care Services include: Emergency Planning, Respite care, 24 hour support for foster homes, Weekly visits by trained staff, Training for foster parents, and Post adoption services. Services include parenting time supervised visitation (PTSV), in-home safety education, substance abuse screening services, parent skill development, and access to community resources. Other services include Intensive Family Preservation, Intensive Family Reunification which use Motivational Interviewing (MI) as a tool to move families closer to success and pregnancy. Staff are trained and certified to use MI.

Monica and her staff do a fantastic job. I would use them over and over again. They really get results with thier clients.
